The MT80/MT100 vertical machining center, featuring a new generation of machining centers with a 7:24 (BBT40) spindle taper, utilizes three-dimensional solid modeling technology and finite element analysis. Independently researched and developed high-speed spindle
The spindle features as many as 10 water spray rings, ensuring that the cutting fluid is evenly and sufficiently sprayed onto the cutting area. This achieves comprehensive all-around spraying, rapidly transferring tool heat, extending tool life, eliminating the need for frequent position adjustments, preventing chip accumulation, and offering safe, efficient, and user-friendly operation. The internal design of the cutting fluid inlet also simplifies the spindle's appearance.
The spindle has an extra-large outer diameter of ∅160, providing superior rigidity.
The spindle taper is BBT40, ensuring stable processing at high speeds.

Axis cooling enhances processing accuracy.
The spindle cooling system reduces spindle thermal variations, effectively improving processing accuracy.

Rigid coupling and high-precision ball screw
The X, Y, and Z-axis motors are connected to high-precision ball screws using rigid couplings. This achieves zero backlash between the motor and the screw, ensures high coaxiality between the motor and screw, and results in high dynamic response performance of the feed system.
All three axes use ∅45 dual-nut ball screws with pre-tensioning, providing excellent feed rigidity and accuracy.

High-rigidity castings
All five castings are made of HT300 material using one-piece casting. The wide box-type casting structure, reasonable rib layout, and finite element analysis, along with a large column span, contribute to superior rigidity.
All three axes utilize high-rigidity precision linear guides, providing high-speed and smooth movement. The mounting surfaces of the high-rigidity linear guides are precision-machined to ensure contact surface accuracy and provide reliable stability and overall rigidity.

High precision
The SINUMERIK numerical control system and SINAMICS drive have the high-performance computing accuracy of 80-bit floating-point NANOFP, eliminating rounding errors. The entire control loop has extremely high internal computing accuracy. The feedforward control function ensures that errors can be almost completely compensated for, and the overshoot limiting function reduces the mechanical system stress caused by axis acceleration. Through dynamic servo control, the SINAMICS drive also provides position control and anti-interference characteristics for machine tool control.

High speed
The SINUMERIK numerical control system uses Advanced Surface and Top Surface control technology, combined with an optimized "look-ahead" function, to simultaneously consider forward and backward machining paths. This ensures surface machining quality and further improves machining speed. The innovative optimized compressor function achieves excellent contour accuracy and very short processing speeds. Excellent acceleration control technology effectively reduces mechanical wear and tear on the machine tool, and smooth acceleration and deceleration movements extend the service life of the machine tool and fully utilize its potential.
