The MT120/MT150 vertical machining center, a new generation machining center with a main spindle taper of 7:24 (BBT40), utilizes 3D solid modeling technology and finite element analysis. Independently researched and developed high-speed spindle
The spindle features up to 10 water spray rings, ensuring even and sufficient coolant spray to the cutting area. This achieves comprehensive, all-around spraying, rapidly transferring tool heat, extending tool life, eliminating the need for frequent adjustments, preventing chip accumulation, and ensuring safe, efficient, and user-friendly operation. The coolant inlet is internally designed, simplifying the spindle's appearance.
The spindle has an extra-large outer diameter of ∅160, providing superior rigidity.
The spindle taper is BBT40, ensuring stable processing at high speeds.

Axis center cooling enhances machining accuracy.
The spindle cooling system reduces spindle thermal variation, effectively improving machining accuracy.

Rigid coupling and high-precision ball screw
The X, Y, and Z-axis motors are connected to high-precision ball screws using rigid couplings, achieving zero backlash between the motor and screw. The high coaxiality of the motor and screw, along with the high dynamic response performance of the feed system, are key features.
All three axes use ∅45 diameter double-nut ball screws with pre-tensioning, providing excellent feed rigidity and accuracy.

High-rigidity castings
All five castings are made of HT300 material using one-piece casting. The wide box-type casting structure, reasonable rib layout, and finite element analysis result in a large column span and superior rigidity.
All three axes use high-rigidity precision linear guides, providing high-speed and smooth movement. The mounting surfaces of the high-rigidity linear guides are precisely machined to ensure contact surface accuracy, providing reliable stability and overall rigidity.

High precision
The SINUMERIK numerical control system and SINAMICS drive have the high-performance computing accuracy of 80-bit floating-point NANOFP, eliminating rounding errors. The entire control loop has extremely high internal computing accuracy. The feedforward control function ensures that errors can be almost completely compensated, and the overshoot limiting function reduces the mechanical system stress caused by axial acceleration. Through dynamic servo control, the SINAMICS drive also provides position control and anti-interference characteristics for machine tool control.

High speed
The SINUMERIK numerical control system uses Advanced Surface and Top Surface control technology, combined with an optimized "pre-read" function, to simultaneously consider forward and backward machining paths, ensuring surface machining quality and further improving machining speed. The innovative optimized compressor function achieves excellent contour accuracy and short processing speeds. Excellent acceleration control technology effectively reduces mechanical wear and tear on the machine tool, and smooth acceleration and deceleration movements extend the service life of the machine tool, fully utilizing its potential.
